Programs
Expanded Learning
SAFE, ASES, and ELO-P programming coordinated into one after-school experience for TK–8 students.
One Program, Coordinated Funding
Big Springs serves TK–8 students through coordinated SAFE, ASES, and ELO-P expanded learning programming. Families experience it as one after-school program; behind the scenes, several state programs fund and shape it.
Programming runs every school day until 6:00 PM and includes academic and literacy support, enrichment, physical activity, and student-choice clubs. Snack is provided, attendance is taken, and students are released only to approved adults.
Core Components
Academic & Literacy Support
Homework help, targeted reading practice, and small-group support.
Enrichment
Art, STEM, cooking, music, and hands-on projects that extend the school day.
Student Choice
Clubs and choice time so students have real ownership of their afternoon.
