⛷️🏂 Big Springs Ski & Snowboard Program Sign-Ups Are Open! Big Springs students have the opportunity to participate in the 2026–2027 Educational Snowsports Program at **Mt. Shasta Ski Park**! **Confirmed program dates:** ❄️ January 13 ❄️ January 27 ❄️ February 10 ❄️ March 3 ❄️ March 17 The program is open to students age 5 and older. Each participating student and interested chaperone must complete a separate Participant Information Form by **December 4**: ➡️ https://forms.gle/2siebcQX5i8KZcUUA Students who attend the first four visits will receive free lessons and lift tickets for the fifth visit on March 17. Rental equipment must still be purchased. Program times, pricing, payment, transportation and additional details will be shared when more information is available. We are looking forward to another fun season at Mt. Shasta Ski Park!

Every Badger Deserves Support
In partnership with the Siskiyou County Office of Education (CYBHI), Big Springs offers free mental and behavioral health support at school — counseling, coping skills, and social and emotional support. No copays or deductibles, and it does not reduce your child's insurance coverage. With your consent, eligible services may be billed to your child's health plan to help sustain support; information is privacy-protected. Consent is voluntary. Welcome back, Badgers. Students may arrive beginning at 7:15 AM. Grades 3–8 start at 8:20 AM and TK–2 start at 8:20 AM. The handbook and bell schedule are posted in the Families section.

Welcome to Big Springs. We're a small school in a working valley, and that shapes everything we do. We know our students by name, we expect them to work hard, and we make sure they leave here ready for whatever comes next.
